Inspect
We use RIDGID sewer camera equipment to examine the line for blockages, roots, damage, offsets, standing water, and other visible conditions.
For home sellers
A sewer finding raised late in a transaction is a problem you are reacting to on someone else’s timeline, with someone else’s evidence. Knowing beforehand changes that.
If a buyer’s inspection turns up a sewer defect, you are responding to a report you did not commission, under time pressure, often with a repair quote attached to it. That is a weak position regardless of what the line is actually like.
Inspecting before listing gives you the same information first, on your own schedule, with time to decide what to do about it.
If an inspection has already been done and the findings are being used to reopen terms, an independent second opinion is a reasonable step. Sewer footage frequently supports more than one reading: a joint may be a maintenance item or the start of a failure, and the interpretation matters.
We do not perform repairs, so our reading of the footage is not shaped by what we would be quoting to fix. That is the whole reason a second opinion from us is worth anything.
Disclosure obligations, how to respond to a request for repairs, and what any of this means for your contract are questions for your agent and your own advisers. We document the condition of the line and nothing beyond it.
Independent sewer inspection & second opinions
A sewer backup or major repair recommendation can make a costly decision feel urgent. The Sewer Pros inspects and documents the condition inside your sewer line so you can understand what is actually happening before you approve cleaning, excavation, lining, or replacement.
Because we do not perform sewer repairs or replacements, we do not profit from selling you the work. Our role is to inspect and document visible conditions, explain what we found in plain language, and give you an honest opinion you can use to make the next decision.
Already received a repair recommendation? Bring us in for an independent second opinion before you sign off on major work.

We inspect and document visible conditions inside the line, so you are not forced to rely only on a verbal repair recommendation.
Use the findings to determine whether the issue calls for cleaning, monitoring, a repair estimate, or another qualified opinion, without pressure to buy a repair from us.
Do not approve a major sewer repair based only on a sales-driven recommendation. The Sewer Pros does not repair or replace sewer lines, by design, so we have no repair contract to sell. Get a documented second opinion before you approve the expense.
Finding out what is happening in the line is the job, not a step toward selling a repair.
Conditions found in the line are documented so you can look at them yourself.
Sewer inspection, diagnostics, locating, and cleaning, rather than general plumbing.
If the line needs work beyond cleaning, you decide what to do about it and who does it.

An independent second opinion on the same line is a reasonable step. Footage often supports more than one reading, and a company that does not perform the repair has no stake in which reading prevails.
That is a decision for you and your agent. What we can do is establish whether the problem is accumulation or structural, which is usually the fact the decision turns on.
